Emission Measurement Technology (Knoxville, TN) is EMT's emissions measurement specialist for total CEMS integration, management and operations support. As a turnkey supplier to electric utility and industrial sources, EMT stands ready to deliver the highest quality CEM system integration and services.
John Kelley
EMT Operations Manager
Mr. Kelley is a veteran of CEM system design and manufacturing. His 20+ years of application engineering experience with URS (Oak Ridge, TN) and ESC (Knoxville, TN) was utilized to develop customers at major electric utilites and industrial sources. The formation of EMT, and its association with Cherokee Instruments, brings many technologies into one resource. Electric power utilites and industrial sources can now form meaningful strategies for equipment procurement and service schedules without the confusion of competing vendors.
"The unique capability I see with EMT is a true service organization that brings CEM system knowledge to the table. The limitations of independent integrators and service providers can be overcome as EMT supplies a complete understanding of the hardware and software components. I'm excited to offer a comprehensive solution in systems and service for the first time in the emissions monitoring industry."
Bill McCarter
EMT Sr. CEM Engineer
Mr. McCarter performs field and lab engineering for CEM and stack testing services at EMT. As a degreed chemical engineer, he brings 16 years of experience from Radian and URS to AMP's field service team. Bill is responsible for EPA Test Method and CEM test results sent to AMP clients for compliance reporting to state and federal agencies.
"I am fully confident in our ability to provide the relevant USEPA Method Test procedures to our clients. We provide a comprehensive understanding of data as it relates to process controls and emissions monitoring."
Clynch Varnadore
EMT Sr. Analyzer Specialist
Mr. Varnadore became a factory technician for Advanced Pollution Instrumentation in 1991. He quickly advanced to Lead Technician for Manufacturing and was promoted to API Customer Service in 1993. He assisted in the creation of API's training curriculum and wrote many of the step-by-step procedures (service notes) to assist API customers with troubleshooting and retrofitting various analyzers. Clynch performed on-site services for customers to resolve various problems along with phone and email support. His dedication to the customer and to excellence in his job performance has earned him a solid reputation in the ambient and CEMs industries. He was instrumental in helping API to develop a worldwide reputation for service excellence.
Today, Clynch heads up the EMT field service team to bring the same responsive attention to your plant issues. "My
experience with training and maintenance of API monitors and meters, as well as those not manufactured by API, will be a strong contribution. I look forward to offering the best service and support available to AMP's customer base."
